The Challenge

The Passenger Rail & Mass Transit industry is faced with significant challenges. Passenger volume is increasing as travelers switch from air to rail. There is an increasing need to provide passengers with a seamless travel experience as they use a combination of mass transit, rail and air – often during in the same trip. Deregulation is prompting the entry of new competitors. Governments are experiencing political pressure to privatize rail companies and reduce subsidies.

To succeed in this environment, you must reduce costs while simultaneously maintaining high levels of customer service. You must be able to quickly adapt and innovate. You need to effectively integrate information from multiple sources all while increasing efficiencies and deepening your customer relationships.
