EDS and Fujitsu Collaborate To Move Clients’ Mainframe-Based Applications To Alternative Platforms
The Fujitsu relationship fill identified gaps within EDS' hosting infrastructure and workplace services portfolios. EDS and Fujitsu collaborate on hosting and legacy application migration solutions on Fujitsu's high-end servers, the PRIMEQUEST™ line of Itanium-based servers for Windows; and the developing of mainframe platform migration solutions. Fujitsu Tablet PCs will be used as appropriate in workplace services solutions.
