- City of Anaheim
- To accelerate its response to local emergencies, Anaheim needed to improve information sharing among police, fire and other city departments. IT partner EDS helped Anaheim launch an unprecedented virtual emergency management solution that helps the city make smarter, faster decisions and fully leverage its existing IT investments.
- Flemish Government
- E-mail connectivity helped improve productivity and enable collaboration. But an ever-increasing volume of spam e-mail was threatening to overwhelm the systems. The Ministry turned to HP to help it manage unsolicited e-mails more effectively.
- Flemish Government (SOA Platform)
- When the Minister-President of the Flemish Government launched an e-government initiative to free citizens from the burden of repetitive paperwork, HP delivered a revolutionary service-oriented architecture (SOA) platform that now enables citizens to complete tasks online in just minutes, while saving the government millions.
- Michigan Child Support Enforcement System
- The Office of Child Support needed to meet federal standards in its computer systems to avoid penalties. HP established a Project Control/Technical Control Office which not only garnered the federal certification, but also became a model for Michigan’s future IT projects.
- Michigan Department of Information Technology
- Michigan decided to consolidate the 23 separate IT organizations within its executive branch. With help from HP the state launched an unprecedented organizational change initiative, which resulted in a complete overhaul of processes, communications and governance.
- Michigan Department of State (DOS)
- Phase II of the Business Application Modernization (BAM) project improved ties within and between the DOS and the Department of Information Technology (DIT), while developing an implementation strategy that will ultimately simplify citizens’ interactions with the DOS.
- Michigan Department of Transportation
- The State of Michigan has decreased traffic accident fatalities across the state through implementation of its CRASH Process Redesign (CPR). This multi-department effort streamlines the flow of critical information to help State Police monitor high-incident areas, the Department of State to request and channel funding in high risk areas, and the Department of Transportation to provide better reporting and visibility to traffic crash data.
- State Government Web Presence
- This state government had a scattered Web presence with more than 100 agencies, boards and commissions managing their own distinct Web sites. So the state asked EDS to build a unified Web portal and content management solution with e-commerce capabilities.
