By agreement with the NSA, EDS is offering the NSA INFOSEC Evaluation Methodology (IEM) certificate course to qualified information security professionals who conduct, or are interested in conducting, information security evaluations.
By agreement with the NSA, EDS is offering the NSA's INFOSEC Assessment Methodology (IAM) course to experienced information security professionals who conduct, or are interested in conducting, information security assessments of information systems.
The two-day course teaches the NSA’s IAM – a high-level, non-intrusive process for identifying and correcting security weaknesses in information systems and networks.
Certificates are awarded to qualified students who meet the experience requirements, attend the full two-day training class, participate in class exercises, demonstrate an understanding of the methodology and pass the written test given at the end of the class.

Prerequisites
Course applicants must have the following credentials to be eligible for the NSA’s IAM Certificate of Completion:
- U.S. citizenship
- Five years' experience in the field of INFOSEC, communications security (COMSEC) or computer security, with two-to-five years' experience directly related to analyzing computer system/network vulnerabilities and security.

Registration materials are due to EDS by the registration deadline. Eligibility for the NSA-IAM certificate is determined based on the prerequisites described above. If you are eligible and space is available in the requested class, you will be enrolled upon receipt of payment of the course registration fee. Upon notification of acceptance, please submit full payment, made payable to EDS. Credit card payment can be made via telephone; a check should be mailed to the above address at least one week prior to the class date.
