EDS Helps UK Government Tackle Shortage of Teachers (13 Aug 2008): EDS has joined 60 organisations in supporting the UK Government's “Transition to Teaching” programme. Developed by employers and funded by the government's Training and Development Agency (TDA), the programme helps to address the long-standing shortage of teachers in maths, science and information and communications technology (ICT) by encouraging people with relevant degrees to consider becoming teachers.

EDS Extends Commitment to Remain Title Sponsor of EDS Byron Nelson Championship Through 2014 (23 Apr 2008): PLANO, Texas – EDS today announced it has extended its commitment as title sponsor of the EDS Byron Nelson Championship with the sponsorship now running through 2014. This is the second early extension agreed to between EDS and the Salesmanship Club of Dallas since EDS became title sponsor in 2003. Financial terms of the extension were not disclosed.
