Web-based Flood Insurance Processing
We improve customer service and reduce the cost of operations through our industry-leading, Web-based flood insurance processing capability. This Web service allows insurance agents to quote flood insurance premiums, submit applications and endorsements, retrieve policy level information, and submit notices of loss through a standard Web browser over the Internet.
Remittance Processing
Checks from policy holders are collected via the banking systems' check clearing network and credit card transactions are collected through the credit card networks.
These payments are received into remittance processing, where the payments are processed and the documents are image captured. These images are then sent through the imaging and document archive for inclusion in the document archive.
Imaging and Document Management
Payments and payment instructions received into remittance processing, as well as documents received into the customer care and administrative offices, are image scanned and stored in the image archive. Image quality checks are performed to ensure the image is of an acceptable quality and data is entered and/or corrected to ensure key data on the forms is accurately retained.
Policy and Claims Administration
The policy and administration systems are hosted at an HP Service Management Center (SMC) and manage the details related to the policies, agents, adjusters, claims, laws and other governmental requirements, etc.
Output Management
Outputs include payments (both via check and electronic transfer) such as claims, commissions, fees, and others as well as reports, forms, declaration pages, bills, tax forms and so forth which go to the government, policy holders, insurers, agents and adjusters. via electronic and/or paper based media.
Output management generates the extensive set of outputs, managing the creation of the output as well as the output media and distribution to their destination.
Value Added Network (VAN) Data Sharing
VAN Data Sharing manages the sharing of data with our insurance partners through the Value Added Networks (VANs).
Web Hosting
Web Hosting provides for a Web portal to be used via the Internet so that agents and adjusters as well as the HP customer care and administrative offices have secure, fast and reliable access to account level details.
