Desktop/Laptop Encryption

Full Disk Encryption

Full disk encryption secures desktop and laptop computers by encrypting all areas of the physical disk. This prevents the unauthorized alteration of operating system files, programs or stored data. Encrypted data is rendered meaningless without the correct decryption password that converts the data back to a readable form. The whole process is seamless to the user and makes secure data the default.

This level of encryption also prevents legible data from being copied or read by unauthorized means and also secures the data even if the disk is removed and loaded into another machine.

Encryption administration provides central control of policy and security settings, decentralized deployment, day-to-day administration and reporting.

Mobile Encryption

  • Prevention of any unsecured handheld device from downloading business e-mail until security software has been downloaded and installed
