Enhanced Mobile Security Services

Enhanced Mobile Security Services offers the following features:

Mobile Device Asset Tracking

This service creates accurate asset inventory records, including who has which device(s) and other important device data, such as last usage date, device state and which applications are on the device.

Mobile Device Backup

Regularly back up your critical business data on remote users? mobile devices (handhelds). This automated process requires no user intervention to back up the data. Communication from the client device to the central servers is encrypted using HTTPS.

Once the data is received, it is stored by our central server in a designated file store, from which lost data can be quickly restored. Data can be backed up on a user-defined schedule, or the user can call our help desk to initiate a backup.

Mobile Configuration Manager

Our mobile configuration manager service enables us to securely and centrally configure and maintain your system attributes, preferences and settings for remote devices. Proper configuration gives your frontline workers hassle-free use while ensuring that required connection settings are enforced.

Security options allow you to lock out specified applications, prevent users from accessing the run dialog and disallow loading of external applications or executables on storage cards.
