Duplicate Voter Exchange Executive Overview

Content starts here

New voter registration systems are instrumental in identifying and deleting duplicate registrations within states' records. Current procedures for updating information between states are weak or non-existent and notification often does not occur, resulting in duplicate registrations. Election officials throughout the nation have expressed an interest in data matching with other states. They believe it is the next logical step after completion of state voter registration systems. HP recognized the interest of state and local officials in comparing their voter registration lists with neighboring or affinity states and was proactive in developing an application to serve those needs.

Implement Data Matching Between States Seamlessly

HP leveraged its industry-leading duplicate voter identification module to develop a new software product and service that helps states achieve interoperability goals without additional spending on infrastructure or “reinventing the wheel.” HP's system enables a data exchange not only with neighboring states but also with “affinity” states, such as New York/Florida, and Washington/Arizona.

  • Save hardware, software and programming costs
  • Eliminate redundant efforts exchanging inter-state data
  • Empower your departments with access to your “affinity” states data through HP's Web-based portal
